Making intercity travel in Cameroon easier to plan
We're building one place to search, compare, and book bus, train, and flight travel — starting in Cameroon, with the wider Central and West African region in view.
Why we're building Yaamo
Booking a trip across Cameroon today usually means calling ahead, guessing whether a bus still has seats, and paying in cash at the counter. We're building Yaamo so travelers can search every mode in one place, see real availability, and pay however they already do — mobile money, card, wallet, or cash — while operators get a straightforward way to reach more travelers and manage their schedules.
What we're building on
Pan-African from day one
Starting in Cameroon and designed to extend across the wider FCFA region as we grow.
Bilingual by default
Every screen, in English and French, because that's how Cameroon actually communicates.
Built with operators, not just for them
Schedules, manifests, and payouts designed around how transport operators actually run their business.
Traveler-first design
Clear pricing, real seat availability, and support in the channels travelers already use, like WhatsApp.
Trust & safety
The things we think matter most when money and travel plans are involved.
Encrypted, always
Passenger and payment information is encrypted end to end and never sold to third parties.
Transparent pricing
Our service fee is shown before you pay, on every booking — never buried or added after the fact.
Clear refund terms
Cancellation and refund rules are set by each operator and shown upfront, before you book.
